OUR VALUES

Our core values are who we are, not just what we do. They are part of our DNA.

  • Our Focus is Jesus

The purpose of Revive Church is to share the hope of Jesus. He is our message so everything we do will always come back to bringing people into a closer relationship with Him.

  • Our Heart is Generous

Generosity is about giving more than is required and we see this as a privilege. We will be generous with our money, our time and our talents.

  • Our Passion is People

We make no apologies for being extremely focused on reaching people who are broken, lost and far from God. Our light shines brightest in the darkness. We love all people  because all people are loved by Jesus.

  • Our Way is Discipleship

We believe discipleship happens through natural connections with real people as they walk this life out together. That is why we provide as many opportunities for that to happen as we can.

  • Our Pursuit is Purpose

We will do everything with passion and purpose. From our worship to serving on the streets and everything in between we will serve filled with Holy Spirit energy. It is what drives us. We know when you find your purpose you find life. It’s our desire for you to walk in the very purpose you were created for.

  • Our Standard is The Bible

In all of our worship, in all of our services, with our words and all of our lives we will teach the Bible in relatable ways that all people can understand. This is always our reference point.

OUR BELIEFS

We have several core beliefs at Revive. They guide us as a church and as believers.

  • It is the written and inspired word of God, that ordinary men wrote down when moved by the Holy Spirit. It’s our final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, proverbs 30:5 and Romans 16:25-26)

  • He is The son of God. On earth he was 100 percent human and 100 percent God. He was born of a virgin, did many miracles, signs and healing. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross in our place. It’s by the shedding of his blood we now have forgiveness of sins. He rose from the dead on the third day and is at the right hand of God in heaven. He will return again for his saints. (John 1:1, 14, 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, 1 Timothy 2:5)

  • There is one God eternally existent in three persons, the Father, The Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal (1 John 5:7, Gen. 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17, 28:18, Hebrews 3:7-11)

  • By full submersion in water, this is an outward showing of the inward decision to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Representing the death, burial and resurrection of Christ you also have died to self and rose a new creature in Christ. This is to be done after salvation and putting your faith in Jesus. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)

  • We are saved by grace thru faith in Jesus Christ, his death burial and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God and not earned by our works.(Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, 3:8, Titus 3:5, Romans 10:9-10, Acts 16:31 , Hebrews 9:22)
